ACRYSOL RM-8W is a non-APEO, solvent-free, hydrophobically modified, ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier. It provides effective medium shear (KU) viscosity in various coating formulations. It can be used in combination with high shear (ICI) additives such as ACRYSOL RM-3030 rheology modifier to achieve the desired balance of high and low shear viscosity in latex coatings.
